hundreds of debris. floating in space. up there all alone.
irreducible fragments of an already forgotten.
it will be weeks at least before the true magnitude is known.

it is unclear what caused the crash.

authorities believe it is the first incident of its kind.
they say.
but,
i wouldn't be so sure.
it all sounds awfully familiar to me.
